She's ravishing. Her long, lowered lashes hide her warm brown eyes. A delicate hand gently rests on her left thigh while the other taps on the wooden table. Tapping, tapping, tapping. Her right leg shakes unsteadily. Her eyes open and glance at the clock above her. She sighs. She's waiting for someone; that much is obvious. Me? It's hard to tell. Her pictures don't do her justice. I fix my hair and walk over.
She looks up, her eyes raking over me, and a corner of her lips curve up slightly. She nods to the chair across from her silently. I sit and look down, catching my breath. When I look up a few seconds later, she's studying me. So I do the same.
She's wearing a black blouse that fits her nicely and jeans with a pair of tennis shoes. So simple and yet so lovely. Her neck and arms are bare, and I assume her ears are as well, though it was hard to tell. The only noticable make up on her was eye liner. Her dark hair came down to her shoulders and framed her face.
A man in white comes and rambles at us. He wants to take our order. I don't say anything; I don't know if I could. She doesn't even adress him. After a while, he leaves, flustered.
She stands abruptly and I look at the clock. It's been almost an hour. We still haven't eaten or spoken. Just studied one another. She smiles a timid smile, a wonderful smile. She leans down and kisses my cheek softly, surprising me. I figuring she was just going to leave, not pleased with what she has seen. Her smile grew into an amused one and she left.
I sat there a few minutes, thinking. What had just happened? I sighed and rearranged the objects on the table absent-mindedly. Once everything was in place, I stood and left as well.
I was bored. 8D
